অলুক্ষুণে মনে চাই এক সংযমী বিরতি

ঘিরে ধরেছে মাদক  কুয়াশায় , 
ফোঁপাচ্ছে শহুরে যান্ত্রিক হতাশায় ;

বুকে ছোবল মারছে বিষধর একঘেয়েমি ,
চোখে অপলক দৃষ্টির পাগুলে একগুয়েমি ;

স্বপনকাঠির মারণে রঙের বেদম কেলেঙ্কারি ,
মায়াজালের অট্টহাস্যে আগাগোড়া ফক্কিকারি !

যত্রতত্র খোঁড়াচ্ছে এক খোঁড়া বিরক্তি
অবেলায় চাবকাচ্ছে এক মত্ত আপত্তি ;
উচাটনের ক্ষিপ্রতা কোনায় কোনায় ,
অলুক্ষুণে মনে চাই এক সংযমী বিরতি !

Invalid beauty!

Dreadfully weedy to tap
The surface of still water;
Circular rings of waves

May be looking like scar.

Neither feeling to jolt

The branch of a tree;

A bunch of falling buds
May be hitting like bee

Nature seems losing its entity

Souring it off; an explosive identity,

Every molecule being uncooked

Borrowing an invalid beauty!!!

I saw what you did in last winter

I saw what you did in last winter; 
 But didn't feel to sign the twitter,
 
Sense of rumor; rudely naked  
Tense of humor; yet to be baked
 
Sipping until it's burnt; 
Dissolve me if you'd learnt!

যাবে কী চলো আমার সঙ্গে ?

দিনের শুরুতে যেই কাজ ,

মাথায় পড়ে সেই বাজ ;

বিগড়ে যায় ছুটি - ছুটি ,

চেপে ধরে মাথার ঝুঁটি !

বুজে আসে চোখ , বাজে মাথার ঘন্টা ,

কেবল পালাই পালাই করে মন টা ;

থাকতে চাই না এই ভূ-বঙ্গে 

যাবে কী চলো আমার সঙ্গে ?

সেই সুদূরপ্রসারী সাগরবক্ষে  

দূর-দূরান্তে ; অন্তহীন এই মানবচক্ষে !

হাত দেখে ভাগ্য নির্ণয় করার কী দরকার?!

Sitting in a closed room; a dark room;

A table; topped by a book of Palmistry,

Faintly visible in the candle-light

Looking at my right palm; exploring mystery.

Eyes roving over three main lines:

Heart-line, Head-line and Life-line;

The wall-clock knocking at midnight,

Feeling awkward; still palm-reading of mine.

Gradually the heart-line

Getting alive; twirling like a snake;

Slowly shaping up like a heart

Beating every second; so real, not fake.

Suddenly the head-line

Moving over the forming heart;

Transforming into a real cranium,

In a seamless way; so lively, no short-cut.

My heart skipping many beats

Horribly sweating in spite of chilliness;

Painfully the life-line

Being faded out; in the way of craziness.

The cranium apparently so familiar,

The new-formed heart still pumping;

One window forcibly opened up

The moon-light came; the candle dumping.

The new face got brightened up;

In the moon-light; it’s grinning

For the moment, in a shock;

“IT’S MY FACE” – madly screaming!!!!

এক বিকট হাসিতে কেঁপে উঠলো সারা ঘর । আর আমার মতো দেখতে মুখমণ্ডল টা এক রাম-ধমক দিল - " চুপ কর শালা !! হারামজাদা !! হাত দেখে ভাগ্য নির্ণয় করার কী দরকার ছিল বে??!! "

দাবার ছকে এক মাতাল

করিল পান
বাস্তবতার জগৎ ঠেলে ;
বাহির হইল
স্বাভাবিকতার কপাট খুলে !

রঙীন মনের বর্ণহীন আচরণ
সাদা হইতে কালো , কালো হইতে সাদা ;
ফেলিয়া দিল সে শেষটুকু আবরণ 
দাবার ছকে তার লাগামহীন বিচরণ !

T for Towel....

Having a glimpse at the snap;

Sitting idly on balcony; Camera on my lap.

Hastily!!!

Somewhat happened at that room;

Facing towards our balcony; Zoom!!

Noisily!!!

She emerged out of the lavatory;

Wrapped by a long towel; hair soggy.

Click!!!

She ambled towards the mirror;

Seated on the tool; dried her hair.

Click!!!

She bordered her eyes with Kajol;

Put the lipstick on her lips; deftly cool!!

Click!!!

She depicted her ears with studs;

Brushed her hair; Sprayed on the buds.

Click!!!

She looked herself, so exquisite like flower;

Grinned and stood up; Undoing the towel…

" বাবা , ও বাবা "
" অসময় এ তুই ? কি চাই ? "
" R for Rabbit , S for Snake , T for কি হবে ?"
" T for Towel "

দীপ-বর্তিকা

হবে না কেবল মুষ্ঠি-বদ্ধে !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

চাই অন্তরের অম্লরাজ , সোনা গলে যাতে .

মেলে ধরো তোমার মুক্ত দুই হস্ত ,

মুক্তি দাও রাশি-রাশি বালি ধূলো ;

কুড়িয়ে তোলো মোদের টুকরো-টুকরো স্বপ্ন ,

অন্তরে বাঁচিয়ে রেখো তাদের , দাও তাদের নব-জন্ম !!!

মোদের মনের কুটিরে 

জ্বাজল্যমান এক দীপ-বর্তিকা ;

সেই শিখাটির লেখনীতে 

ধরা দেয় মোদের স্বপ্ন-পত্রিকা !!!

New Year 2013

H - Had a vibrant long, but memorable journey,

A - Arrowed my heart with the newly bud’s honey.

P - Pondered over too many distorted things,

P - Piled myself with a number of unplanned strings.

Y - Yapped with a number of faces needlessly,        

N - New dealings broke into my life heedlessly.

E - Excessive flow of errands in corporate life,

W - Withdrew myself from chaos by ‘The Famous Five’.

Y - Yare to move with a lot of dreams,

E - Energetic to build up in form of beams;

A - Aspirant to put on the new struggling-coat ,

R - Ready to start the engine of the life-boat !

দ্বিপদ গাধা

বিনিদ্র রজনীর নিঃশব্দ পায়া,

ঢেউ খেলছে মৃতপ্রায় ছায়া; 

ফিকে স্বপ্ন চোখের কোলে,
পাতা পড়ছে অঙ্কের ভুলে;
অবান্তর প্রশ্নের রেলগাড়ি
অবিরাম ছুটছে কালো অশ্রুজলে |

দুষ্টুমিষ্টি পাখির বেসুরো ডাক,
এলোমেলো রাস্তায় নির্বোধ বাঁক; 

হলদেটে ছবিতে তার বাঁধা,
কবরবাড়িতে হাসছে সব ধাঁধা; 
হেঁটে চলছে একাকী
মনুষ্যরূপী এক দ্বিপদ গাধা  |
